We were able to take a walk along the beach on Saturday morning and see how much sheet piling has been installed by the contractors. It looks as though they’ve finished the first section, below the promenade, which you can see in the photo below. We were also able to look at the area under the ramp, leading down on to the beach. ‘A Taste of Overstrand’ was held on the sports field, on Saturday. We went along in the early afternoon and were impressed. Very pleased our car got through its MOT this week. This will be followed early next month for some minor recommended repairs and new tyres. Providing we can keep it ‘on the road’ we feel this will be our last car. No real point in changing as it does very few miles a year.
