In my blog for 29th May, I mentioned (actually, it was a bit of moan) about Sanders putting up QR codes instead of printed bus timetables. Today, we noticed that some of the bus stops (we haven’t passed by all the stops) now have printed timetables. Last Thursday, we mentioned to a bus driver about the lack of timetables; he agreed supplementing these with QR codes was not a wise move. Whether he fed this back to the main office, or maybe there was a plan to eventually place them at the stops, I don’t know.
I don’t have a lot more to say today apart from, we have been enjoying the sun and warmth both in our garden and out on walks. I took a selection of photos yesterday morning, as we walked along the beach. I have included one of the cliffs and beach as today’s photo. Peter commented on how the green the cliffs are this year; a result of the amount of rain which fell earlier..
The good weather looks to be continuing so, as in previous years, it will be warm and sunny for the annual village Yard Sale on Sunday. Just one other thing to mention, Tim Bennett will be leading his ever-popular village history walks again this year. I have put a copy of the poster, with details of dates, times and how to book a place, on the Village Calendar page.
